My name is Catherine Jennings and I have been a practising counsellor in Wollaton, Nottingham for the past 7 years. I have worked for the NHS and in Education as a counsellor and now work in private practice specialising in emotional issues.
I work with both teenagers and adults on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
I am experienced in helping clients who have experienced difficulties with :
Stress, relationship issues, addiction (past and present), panic attacks, loneliness, life transitions, personal development, bullying, traumatic experiences, sexuality, low moods, redundancy, self-esteem, anxiety, bereavement, loss, developing relationships, physical/sexual/emotional abuse,divorce, separation and decision making.
I also practiced as a midwife in the past and counsel women who have emotional issues relating to their pregnancy, birth or postnatal period. These issues may relate to loss, expectations, low mood, body image, new role as a parent, fertility issues, relationship changes and isolation.
I also offer Professional Supervision for counsellors who are already qualified or are in counselling training.
My practice in Wollaton is within easy reach of Nottingham, I am 3-4 miles from Nottingham City Centre. I and am only 3-4 miles from Ilkeston in Derbyshire and from Junctions 25 (Derby) and Junction 26 (Nottingham) of the M1.
Counselling Sessions cost £40 per 60 minute hour
